After a fun-filled day with lots of snorkeling on the Super Ultimate Tour, I thought it was time to take a break from snorkeling and enjoy more of the beaches Coron had to offer. And so I booked the Island Escapade Tour on my second full day in Coron, Palawan.
Wanting to try something new and with not much time to plan, I found myself alone in Coron, in the Filipino province of Palawan in July. I had almost a week in Coron but never knowing what would come in the following days, I took up the most comprehensive of the tours on the first day, the Super Ultimate Tour. Turned out to be the perfect introduction to Coron, Palawan, and as luck would have it, the only day of
If you’re heading to north Bali, Singaraja is certainly worth a day trip. While not having any of the fancy beach clubs or heartstopping attractions, the old colonial charm of this once bustling port capital is sure to win you over, especially if you’re done with the crowds down south.
Still more to explore in Bali. This time I decided on a 5 day trip to North Bali, basing myself in Lovina, the quiet town known for black sand beaches and dolphin sightings.
Late last year my friends and I were looking for a quick getaway over the new year. We didn’t want to get into too much planning, and flight prices to popular destinations had by then gone way up.
